Carol Mullins Kern
Hi there — thank you for visiting!I am Carol Mullins Kern, Your Personal Historian. My Passion? Capturing and preserving family histories…one story at a time!

As a long-time genealogist, I know first hand the appreciation and joy felt when discovering long lost, precious nuggets of personal history left behind by a family member — each a glimpse into that loved one’s life and daily events.

My interest in family history began as a young child when my father told me the story of how my grandfather left home one day and never returned. I wanted to know more! Why did he leave? Where did he go? What was his new life like?

A lifelong passion for genealogy and capturing family stories developed out of that early-age curiosity of what happened to my grandfather. In the late 1990’s, my life-long passion for family history transitioned from that of family researcher to that of professional family history researcher and life story writer.

Everyone has a story to tell; a story to be treasured; a story to be shared with family and friends; a legacy to leave for future generations. As Your Personal Historian, I would be honored to assist you in the telling of your family stories

My goal: Capture as many stories as possible, one story at a time!
